Reading Fun

So you say you like to read . . .

I was on a blog I really like yesertday: Catherine, Caffeinated.  (  And I saw a great widget:  Reading Challenge 2013.  It was established by GoodReads who I just joined, well, two days ago.

The objective of the challenge is to set yourself an annual reading goal.  I set mine for 100, about two books a week.  It sounds about right for me.  But some people have set themselves a goal of 12 others 200.

I’m always in the middle of a book and honestly, I think it would be fun to see how many books I’ve actually read.  I’ve never kept track before.

So who’s up for a challenge?

  1. Hello, R.D.!
Thank you for following me. I’m an avid reader like you. Funny, but I too read a book while ironing, if only once. But I tell you, I can’t have a meal without sticking my nose in a book. I never go to bed without a book. And yes, I do read 2 books a week, a 100 each year, and I do record each one in the back of my daily planner. Well, I like to write down (record!) everything I do, so no surprise here. 🙂 I just finished Jason Starr’s The Pack and its sequel, The Craving. I love this author!
    Hope to hear from you,

    1. Hi Nadya. A fellow insatiable reader!. Its nice to know there are more of us out there. I actually have a book holder just for reading while eating. It is a rare day when it’s not used.

I’ve never tracked how many books I’ve read before, so I’m really interested to find out. And I just checked out The Pack. I’m putting it on my to be read file. Thanks for mentioning it!

And thanks for commenting. I hope you keep checking in!

      Take care,
